District Consultant for Town Park.Situated in Miami, FL, was responsible for the valet parking at 8 premier hotels.

The Club at Boca Pointe. 2009-5/2012. Responsible for $15M annual operating budget and 250 employees at this well established private, full service country club in Boca Raton, FL. Supervise staff of 12 department heads at 3 clubhouse locations and 1,400 Members in a 3,400 home, gated community.

TFGC FlagThe Founders Golf Club & Community. 2004 – 2009. Worked with developerto build a new, high-end golf club community with 262 homes in Sarasota, Florida. Partnered with golf course designer Robert T. Jones, Jr., building architects and contractors to develop an exceptional property not seen in Sarasotabefore. Responsible for a $400M budget. Focusing on the development of a superior club membership, currently at two hundred and twenty. Started at the beginning of the SW Florida Real Estate boom and completed construction of the golf course & community infrastructure, well before downturn in economy allowing for record sales in real estate & club memberships. Club & community are today vibrant & energized continuing to outpace the competition.

Golf Clubhouse @ The Tuxedo ClubThe Tuxedo Club.2002 – 2003. Responsible for $6M operating budget and 130 employees at this well known prestigious private C.C. community. Supervise staff of 10 department heads at 3 clubhouses, 18 hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr.,designed golf course, 5 racquet sports facility, swimming facility and lake with boathouse, sailing and fishing. Reengineered business and introduced strategic planning. As COO, recognized that existing accounting systems were outdated, difficult to understand and ineffective for long range planning. Revamped accounting practices, replaced antiquated software and updated hardware. Introduced POS systems and effective inventory control methods. Recreated past 5 years financial results and developed 10 year strategic plan.

GlenArbor's 27,000 sq' Clubhouse.GlenArbor Golf Club.2000 – 2002. Worked with owners & developer (Fred Green) to build a new, high-end golf club. Partnered with golf course designer Gary Player,building architects and contractors. As COO, effectively managed a $30M project budget. Hired and trained all club personnel and opened club on schedule. Intimately involved in the development of the membership program involving marketing, sales and service and grew  the membership roster from zero to two hundred Members.

Hammocks at Ariel Sands.Ariel Sands Beach & Tennis Club. 1998 - Present. Spearheaded revitalization project resulting in record results despite declining trend in market segment. Ariel Sands Beach & Tennis Club in Bermuda was experiencing a dramatic decline in revenue. As member of the BOD & Executive Committee, joined with owner to rejuvenate the business. Surveyed customers for past two years, current staff and other hotel owners/managers and presented action plan to BOD. Plan included restructuring the Board, recruiting new GM, strategic plan for spending of capital funds, enlargement of the spa and service improvements. The property is currently positioned for sale.

Renovated Clubhouse at CCD.The Country Club of Darien.1989 – 2000. Operating responsibility for 125 employee facility and $6M annual operating budget. Managed rebuilding of facility and major upgrades of the golf course. Responsible for $12M in capital expenditure projects, delivered on time and within budget.  As Chief Operating Officer, developed strategic plan and spearheaded complete renovation of the Club.Negotiated with new lender to refinance existing mortgage to raise working capital. Proposed and implemented member assessment to increase capital funds available for the projects. Managed renovation of the club in phases, ensuring continued operations. Renovated main clubhouse, pro shop, tennis facility and golf course. Improved staff training and upgraded member services. Membership waiting list grew from zero to ten years.

Aerial of a hole at Pelham CC.Pelham Country Club.1985 – 1989. Responsible for $6M operating budget and 130 person staff. As general manager, introduced new operating standards that dramatically reversed declining revenue trend. Recruited to revitalize service levels, infrastructure and declining membership. Met with department heads to clearly outline and gain buy in to new level of expectations and performance standards. Identified and prioritized infrastructure issues. Created capital strategies to immediately deal with most critical issues; all efforts resulting in a reversal of the decline.

Prior experience with increasing responsibilities at BraeBurn Country Club,  Westchester Country Club,  Hamilton Princess Hotel,  Carousel Hotel, Salisbury Sheraton Hotel and Ariel Sands Hotel Beach & Tennis Club.

As well as the aforementioned high-end private clubs, communities and hotel experiences the following has also been accomplished:

Peter J. Tunley, CCM, CCE.As Campaign Chairman, led three successful national campaigns for Club Managers Association of America leadership. On three separate occasions (1996, 1999 & 2000) managed extensive campaigns for Peter J. Tunley, CCM, CCE. First to get him elected to the national BOD of the CMAA; a second term, and then finally for an officer position where he ended up as the President of the national organization. Through innovative and technological means we were able to bring much positive exposure to the candidate resulting in him receiving a greater share of the vote than any candidate before him.
